Blue title: this is a registration of the building in the land register. It is not a mandatory condition for the purchase of property by a foreigner.
Tunisian law requires a lawyer to apply for a blue title.
Real Estate Sales:
Tunisian law does not require that’ a sales contract (drafted by a lawyer or a notary) for real estate sales between Tunisians.
Transfer of ownership is done at the signing of the deed of sale for unregistered land.
By the way, in the scheme legal blue titles, transfer of ownership is carried out with registration in the land register.
