Real estate purchase by foreigners

 The purchase of real estate (house,  Houch, apartment, land) by é foreigners to Djerba   Tunisia requires  three steps:

1. Signing a promise of sale: the re The author of the act must verify the  vocation of the building. Only real estate located in urban areas can be the subject of a real estate purchase. The town hall holds the urban development plans.

The promise of sale must contain the conditions of the sale, the conditions precedent, the time limit for obtaining the governor’s authorization, the terms of payment.

2. Governor Permission File Filing

 The drafter of the act must prepare a file and submit it to the governorate.

Folder must contain document set :

• party criminal records
• a statement by bailiff
• topographic maps
• building permission
• reattachment report

3- signature of the final sale contract

The Governor of Medenine delivers  a governor's license.

The final sales contract  is concluded  by referring to  Governor's Authorization.
